Dr. Zachary Walker

Dr. Zachary Walker is currently Head of Psychology and Human Development at University College London Institute of Education. He also works with many countries around the world on providing leadership for collaboration and inclusion of all persons, including all ethnicities, races, religions, genders and levels and kinds of abilities. To accomplish the development of such policies and the provision of these practices, he works with a country’s leaders in business, education, and other professions as well as political leaders. Zachary promotes policies and practices for collaborative, inclusive leadership that focuses on creating environments where all people feel they belong and can achieve.

He has now worked in approximately 30 different countries around the world, including many in Western Europe and in Asia such as Thailand, Japan, and Vietnam. In addition to his work on leadership for inclusion and collaboration, Zachary has also provided training on behavior management and on teaching children of all exceptionalities. His most recent work has been in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates where his focus was inclusive practices in schools. There he has done large scale evaluations and smaller practical sessions with teachers on evidence-based teaching practices.  

In addition to being a DISES member and past member of the board of directors, Zachary has been a part of the CEC leadership and served as a member of the Leadership Development Committee.
